We prefer a world where kids aren't sold energy drinks by their heroes. So as a community of action sports enthusiasts, we've formed a DAO to rethink how extreme athletes get sponsored.
Gnars are NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain
Based on Nouns open source and CC0 artwork, they're stored fully on-chain with no external dependencies. Each one gets you a DAO vote and memberships are available at auction, forever.

Proliferating the Noggles🤘
Remember those amazing skateable noggles made by the crew in Brazil for Colletivo XV? Well some gnarly folks over in Santo domingo, Dominican Republic have created another pair! It’s wild to see the meme begin to spread across the world like this in such a functional and exciting way. Who will be next to recreate this icon?👀
First Photo Drop on That’s Gnarly
This past week was the first drop on That’s Gnarly of a still image! The submission is titled “Leandro - Fs Heelflip” and was submitted by Fernando Menezes Jr.. The mint has concluded at this point, but you can find these editions on OpenSea. And be sure to check him out on That’s Gnarly and Instagram!
Gnarving Coming Soon
The next gnarving is still creeping closer.. and along with it some fairly major protocol changes are coming, so be sure to keep up with us every week to catch any announcements! For those that don’t know, the gnarving is when the duration of each auction doubles - think of it like a Bitcoin halving but for Gnars auctions - and this time the auction duration is going to increase from 40 to 80 minutes. At the time of this writing, there are 119 auctions left. Interested in learning more about how our auctions work? Head over to onboard.wtf.
